Job Title: Deburring Technician

Location: Santa Ana, CA

Pay Rate: $21 an hour (Permanent Role)

Schedule: 1:30 PM - 10:00 PM

Job Summary:

The Deburring Technician is responsible for removing burrs, sharp edges, and imperfections from metal or machined parts using hand tools and equipment. This role supports production by ensuring parts meet quality standards and customer specifications. Ideal candidates will have at least 2 years of hands-on deburring experience in a manufacturing or production environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deburr and finish parts using tools such as files, sanders, grinders, and other manual deburring equipment.
  • Follow instructions from work orders, blueprints, and verbal guidance.
  • Inspect work visually and with measurement tools to ensure quality requirements are met.
  • Assist with part identification and quality checks.
  • Maintain proper documentation and update job travelers as required.
  • Keep work area clean and organized to support a safe and efficient environment.
  • Use basic measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and tape measures.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding job progress and any issues.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in deburring or finishing parts in a production environment.
  • Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints or work instructions.
  • Attention to detail and a strong focus on producing quality work.
  • Basic math and measurement skills.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
  • Familiarity with a manufacturing or machine shop environment is preferred.
